Samsung Instinct HD

Sprint mobile operator has just announced new Samsung Instinct HD. In contrast to its predecessor this monoblock device has more advanced set of technical characteristics. The camera of this phone has 5 Mp resolution and supports HD video recording. This phone also equipped with TV out so users can watch HD videos on TV set. Samsung Instinct HD has 3.2 inch TFT touch screen with 320×480 px resolution, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS, accelerometer and 1440 mAh battery. The dimensions are 117.6х57.9х12.7 mm, the weight is 113.7 g. Supported network are CDMA/EV-DO rev.A 800/1900 MHz.

The Elite Net Phone concept handset has been designed for the age of social networking and acts to align social networking with our real life. Contacts of the phone are added automatically by linking with social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook and then it stores other available contact information from the user’s friends list. This stripped back minimal handset can handle inbound and outboud calls but don’t features camera, music, video, speakerphone and internet functionality considering the ease of use and functional transparency of the phone. The control unit is minimal, containing just 2 dial interface, one scrolling interface and 2 buttons, which can do everything necessary.

Well, after announcing it 5 years ago, Microsoft still not launch this product just yet. People are getting bored in expecting this technology. Microsoft also feels the same thing. Steve Ballmer said that they’re “going to follow our nose” and put it to the grindstone to get a consumer version of its Surface touch computer out to your local Best Buy sooner, rather than way later after a total project re-boot with five different versions and horrible driver support. Good news, huh ?
